Role Description


This is a full-time role, located in New York, NY, for a Business Development Manager (BDM), requiring a minimum of 3 days/week in the office (Financial District).


The main objective for the BDM is to sell sponsorship and exhibition space for Terrapinn's leading events in life sciences, last mile delivery, supply chain & logistics, and transportation.


The BDM will have a key focus on generating new business which starts with prospecting new clients, and carries through the full sales cycle to close the deal for each client.

Being able to follow both transaction and consultative sales approaches is often a key factor of success.


Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in business development and sales
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to set and achieve goals
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field is required
  • Familiarity with b2b events is a plus
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills are a plus

From $65,000.00 per year
