Job DescriptionFunction:
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic addition to our customer service department. The role of a Customer Service Representative is a key position within RainShadow Labs because you are the voice of our organization. You are highly valued as our customers primary point of contact, and you care about helping others. The Customer Experience is at the forefront of all you do, exceeding expectations at every turn. You are a listener, problem solver and believe in quality. You enjoy being on the phone and customers hear your smile as you patiently help them find resolution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to telephone or written correspondence inquiries from customers within established timeframes utilizing current reference materials and available resources.
Ensure our customers accounts are in good order and communicate any delays as needed.
Provide rate quotes.
Track shipments.
Manage inventory.
Research and problem solve any issues that arise.
Administrative work such as scanning, indexing, and filing.
Maintain detailed documentation about customers.
Assist with logistics and freight.
Cross-train with manufacturing department and help when needed.

Experience, Abilities and Qualities Required:

Superior communication (verbal and written), decision making and teaming skills, and willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best possible experience for both internal and external customers.
Highly motivated, ability to coordinate tasks across multiple groups/sites.
Strong attention to detail.
Time management and ability to work independently.
Beginner-Intermediate typing skills including 10 key by touch.
Be adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Telephone sales experience is ideal but not required.

Job Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Sitting 90-95% and standing 5-10%.
Working at a computer 98% of the day, utilizing the phone 30%.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in Order Management or related experience in customer service (2+ years preferred).
