    Health Advocates Network is hiring a Patient Services Representative (1 Year Exp Req) This is a full-timecontract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Torrance, CA.


    Pay Rate:
    $23.00/hour


    Shift:
    Days (8hrs)


    Start Date:

    ASAP
    Contract Length: 13 weeks

    Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

    Role Summary:

    As a member of the patient care team and the primary point of patient contact, the Patient Service Representative is responsible for positive patient relations, proper telephone communication, appointment scheduling, patient registration, as well as payment and co-payment collection.

    This position also performs routine duties associated with the collection and maintenance of current patient demographics and insurance information.

    Patient Services Representative Qualification and Requirements:
    High School Diploma/GED
    1 year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
    Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
    Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications.?
    EpicCare experience
    PT office or PT scheduling experience preferred
