Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals in need.
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and providing companionship.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Familiarity with hospice care and working with individuals with autism is beneficial
- Experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is a plus
Requirements:
- Must be compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay:
$ $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
