    Penn Apartment Staffing is hiring experienced Leasing Consultants, Assistant Property Managers and Property Managers for apartment communities in the greater San Antonio, and Corpus Christi, and surrounding areas. Our company strongly focuses on long-term, quality matches for our clients and employees. Candidates must have a strong work ethic. We are seeking candidates that can start work immediately. Temporary or temporary to hire positions will be pre-screened through our staffing firm to determine qualifications for a long-term, and/or permanent opportunities.

    APARTMENT JOBS THROUGH PENN APARTMENT STAFFING:

    • Leasing Consultant
    • Leasing Manager
    • Assistant Property Manager
    • Property Manager

    We are seeking candidates with knowledgeable skills in apartment leasing and collections practice within the multifamily industry.

    • Leasing Consultant – greet prospective renters, show vacant apartments, assist existing tenants with maintenance requests, explain pricing and lease terms, pre-screen applicants, process leasing applications, oversee move-ins and and negotiate lease renewals. The leasing professional will also advertise available units ready to move-in by posting on social media, make cold calls and follow up on leads.
    • Assistant Property Manager – Report to the property manager and perform administrative and organizational duties such as liaising with residents, collecting rent, doing basic bookkeeping, organizing property viewings and overseeing facility maintenance. Also be responsible for evaluating applicants and negotiating contracts.
    • Property Manager – Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the property. Also, directly supervises all employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding, consulting and disciplining employees; addressing complains and resolving problems.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
    • Knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and comfortable using a computer to routinely perform job functions.
    • Extensive knowledge of Property Management
    • Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
    • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
