We are currently seeking a Fiber Optic Technician (m/f/d) to join our Technical Service South team at our location in Immenstadt.

This position reports to the Head of Technical Service South and is coordinated by the Fiber Optic Foreman.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct installation, assembly, commissioning, and testing work in the following areas:
  • Fiber optic networks
  • Transmission technology
  • Opportunities for independent organization and execution of work orders
  • Participation in preparation, detailed planning, commissioning, and testing of communication equipment
  • Oncall duty for fiber optic tasks
  • Documentation and technical reporting
  • Compliance with occupational safety regulations according to DGUV Regulation 1

Qualifications:


  • Completed technical training, preferably with some experience in fiber optic technology
  • Class BE driver's license, preferably with experience in driving vehicles of this class or willingness to obtain it if necessary
  • Occupational medical clearance according to G4
  • Good IT skills
  • High level of commitment and customer and teamoriented work style
