SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the mortgage post-closing servicing of First Flight. Responsible for processing mortgage payoffs and escrow payments (taxes and insurance). Responsible for processing satisfaction of Deeds of Trusts to the accurate county of Register of Deeds for recording along with tracking the mail out the satisfaction of Deeds of Trusts. Responsible for processing mortgage insurance documentation. Responsible for handling incoming mortgage servicing questions from Retail staff.

Responsible for preparing daily reports to Fannie Mae. Responsible for completing work orders within service standards. Responsible for contacting underwriters along with retail branches to obtain any missing documentation for loan files.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Check Services
Debit Card Services
ATM and Cash Management
Account Services
Loan Servicing
Archiving/record maintenance
Wires
General Operations Tasks - responding to interdepartmental requests
Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Understanding of basic accounting principles
Ability to type, operate a computer and utilize other office equipment
Ability to perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
