We're currently seeking a Junior Data Analyst with analytics experience measuring player behavior and who cares about values centered on process, product, relationships, and people.

The Junior Data Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

• Work closely with our product team on diverse topics to analyze player behavior in order to improve product features and optimize in-game economies
• Partner with our marketing team to evaluate user acquisition campaigns via campaign attribution and event funnel analysis
• Translate business questions into statistical queries that can answer challenging questions thru the mining of billions of rows of data
• Perform product analysis and data exploration to discover actionable insights that help business units make decisions
• Devise and run A/B tests to directly and indirectly drive KPI improvements
• Update dashboards, generate reports, and communicate findings effectively via meetings, presentations, and reports to nontechnical teams
• Continuously learning new technologies that refine the tools and methodology of our analytics
• Team up with game designers, UX/UI artists, and illustrators in creating fun game mechanics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Analytics, and Mathematics; or equivalent work experience in Business Intelligence or Economics
• Fundamentals of process and analytical techniques used for ETL, data analysis, and exploration
• Proficient in SQL, with experience writing complex queries involving joins, aggregation, and window functions
• Experience using descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze and present findings to a variety of audiences
• Visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis proficiency with Tableau is a plus
• Effective writing, presenting and communicating research results to other teams
• Passion for games and love for the art and science of analytics

Preferred Qualifications

• 23 years related experience working in an analytical/research environment
• 1+ years experience servicing data mining needs for shipped games/apps in liveops
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Big Query and Datastore)
• Experience manipulating data sets thru statistical programming software such as Python, R, SAS, etc.

Pay:
$50, $70,000.00 per year
