JOB SUMMARY


As a key member of the sales team, this individual is responsible for proactive support of the sales plan, data analysis and follow-up, customer & agency rep contact, and the quotation processes.

This position is part of the Sales Support team and reports to the Director of Sales.

Will provide regular data analytics and conduct data mining to support pipeline management and help identify opportunities for wallet expansion.

Regular participation in Rep and Customer Reviews as part of support to the Regional Sales Managers to which the role is assigned.

Will create PowerPoint presentations and generate spreadsheets to help inform strategy and assist Regional Sales Manager with focusing on their territory deliverables.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Analysis &

Data Mining:
Gathers and analyzes process data; identifies sources for the same

  • Make recommendations on appropriate solutions based on research and analysis
  • Engage in pipeline management with Regional or National Sales Managers
  • Produce presentations via PowerPoint or provide analytics via spreadsheet to assist Regional or National sales managers on strategic decisions, growth opportunities, or potential focus areas that will lead to success in executing the sales strategy.
  • Participate in Monthly calls with Manufacturers Reps in coordination with the RSM and follow up as needed to support.
  • Support regular cadence in special quote analysis and follow up with RSM and Manufacturers Rep as required. Will also be responsible for handling Special Quotes.
  • Assist in the coordination of website portal access for customers.
  • Manage special stock pricing uploads.
  • Communicate updated forecasts identified through the quoting process.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining CRM Data.
  • May provide general support to and preparation for events such as trade shows, buying group events, or other sales meetings for assigned Regional or National Sales Managers as needed.
  • Assist with other priorities and activities as the company requires.

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree and 2 years of sales supportrelated experience.
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to create presentations in PowerPoint and layout information in a logical, easy to understand format, as well as the ability to conduct the data presentation
  • Team player comfortable working in a flexible, dynamic environment
  • An ability to understand and discuss mechanical/technical products
  • Excellent communication skills and the demonstrated ability to be persistent, solve problems, take direction, and operate with integrity and confidentiality
  • CRM, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams experience is advantageous
  • High energy; high motivation; selfstarter requiring mínimal day to day management
INTER-RELATIONSHIPS

Direction is given by the Sales Manager. Will interface and support Sales Team, Channel Team, Finance Sales Analysts, IT team, Operations, Planning, and Marketing. Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of employees, including Sales, Finance, and IT leadership team and corporate professionals.


WORKING CONDITIONS
Smoke-free, professional office environment. The workstation may be in a high traffic area within a busy department. The standard workweek is 40 hours, with the ability to work over time when needed.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to use hands and fingers to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.

In addition, must have the ability to move freely throughout the facility without physical limitation, and the capacity to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., and have the ability to bend, stoop and reach.


Salary:
$ $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
