- Manages Supplier Performance and processes for optimal efficiency. Develops support objectives and oversees tracking and reporting.
- Creates supply strategies to improve material availability and reduce lead times. Implements inventory management tactics.
- Develops procurement strategies for infrastructure needs and collaborates with various departments to align with business goals.
- Facilitates the formation of effective customer-focused teams and enhances internal processes.
- Fosters continuous improvement and implements efficiency methodologies.
- Assesses business trends, identifies skill requirements, and supports organizational development.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and supply chain management principles.
- Optimizes supplier base for cost-effective supply chain solutions.
- Provides guidance in supplier negotiations and conducts supply chain training.
- Gathers feedback and recommends business strategies based on best practices.
- Supervises employees and oversees managerial responsibilities.
- Travels as necessary.
- Conducts activities in a safe and compliant manner.
- Eight or more years of supply chain/procurement experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in managing procurement contracts and leading teams.
- Proficiency in project leadership, ERP systems, and compliance with procurement requirements.
- Relevant certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier management.
- Understanding of procurement regulations and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to drive supply chain improvements.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant business systems and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to lead change initiatives within the supply chain.
- Effective organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on customer service.
