    We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician for Dayton and surrounding area. The salary range for this position is $21 - $24 per hour.

    The role - How you will contribute: Following the Wallick Mission and Values, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance duties for communities within the district efficiently, ensuring our residents' needs are met and comfortable homes are maintained to the highest standards.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    - Using company-provided technology, complete various work orders for site maintenance projects as directed by the Community leader.
    - Complete unit turns as directed by the Community leader.
    - Responsible for timely completion of work orders within the community, with detailed completion notes documented in the work order tracking system.
    - Responsible for emergency maintenance response within the district, potentially including on-call rotations.
    - Maintain specific certifications as required for the position.
    - Maintain the communities within the district to Company standards.
    - Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

    About You:
    - You have at least 1 year of prior maintenance experience.
    - You possess knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical systems.
    - You hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
    - You comprehend maintenance and repair procedures.
    - You are known for providing a great resident experience, from respectful communication to quality and timely repairs.
    - You are an adaptable and flexible problem solver.
    - You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
    - You are detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple priorities efficiently.

    Physical Demands: This position requires extensive walking, stooping/bending, balancing, kneeling, squatting, and climbing. The ability to lift 50 lbs. is necessary, along with reasonable accommodation for talking, seeing, and hearing requirements.

    Work Environment: Travel between communities within the district may be necessary, depending on need. Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors. Indoor tasks often take place in residences within the community, communal areas, or the designated maintenance shop area. Outdoor work involves the community grounds and outdoor communal areas.
