Position Summary:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and profitability of the restaurant.
They provide leadership and guidance to the management team and staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and the achievement of financial targets.
The General Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and management to the restaurant team, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees.
- Set performance expectations, coach and mentor staff members, and address any performance issues or conflicts.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, costs, and budgets, and take appropriate actions to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, and address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies, and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers and enhance customer loyalty.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop and update menus, ensuring a diverse and appealing range of offerings.
- Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, and recommend necessary adjustments to the business strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on sales, financial performance, and operational metrics for management review.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.
- Indepth knowledge of restaurant operations, including frontofhouse, backofhouse, and administrative functions.
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and make datadriven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as relevant labor laws and licensing requirements.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with restaurant management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Food safety certification and other relevant certifications or training are desirable.
Pay:
$66, $70,000.00 per year
