    Concert Technologies, a telecommunications installation industry leader is looking to hire Field Cabling Technicians
    This position is based in Dulles, VA, and installs various types of telecommunications equipment at Customer facilities. The ability to regularly travel to these locations is required. A company vehicle is provided for work-related travel.
    Field Cabling Technicians are expected to be involved in the following tasks:

    • On-site pre-task surveys to determine project timeline and scope.
    • Install, test, and document cabling as related to the scheduled task provided.
    • Establish voice and data network connections as appropriate.
    • Mount applicable telecommunications equipment following industry standards, best practices, and manufacturer requirements.
    • Install cable pathway systems using power or manual fasteners, drills, or other power equipment.
    • Document network information by appropriately labeling all equipment and cables including recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
    • Maintain a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal requirements.
    One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in cable pulling and installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.

    • Familiar with downloading & uploading files as well as familiarity with standard commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
    This W2 position pays $18-20 per hour DOE and is based out of our Dulles/Sterling, VA location.
