Are you an experienced leader in the realm of pulp mill operations? We're on the lookout for a Pulp Mill Manager to oversee our facility's operations.
This pivotal role demands someone with not just expertise in Kraft pulp manufacturing processes, but also a knack for optimizing production efficiency while ensuring top-notch safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Make safety a nonnegotiable priority, leading by example to create a culture of safety and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations while spearheading effective safety programs.
- Provide strategic leadership, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- Oversee all aspects of pulp production, guaranteeing efficiency and quality from processing to bleaching.
- Develop strategies to maximize output, minimize downtime, and cut operating costs.
- Implement quality control measures to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment reliability.
- Manage the operating budget, implementing costsaving initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to implement best practices.
- Recruit, train, and mentor employees to foster a culture of learning and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pulp mill operations.
- Indepth knowledge of Kraft pulping processes and equipment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality management systems.
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Pay:
$95, $150,000.00 per year
