Position Summary

  • Business Relationship Managers act as principal account managers for new and existing business clients. Their primary duties and responsibilities are to build and maintain relationships with entity clients and customers by generating and developing new client leads and providing excellent service to existing clients with professionalism and courtesy.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

(Duties not limited to those provided here):

  • Actively solicit new deposit and loan relationships with businesses via networking, community involvement, cross-selling and business development activities.
  • Establish and maintain an excellent longterm relationship with customers.
  • Assist customers to provide excellent service.
  • Quickly work to address and resolve customer issues.
  • Call on existing clients to make recommendations as needed.
  • Provide estimates regarding monthly activity to supervisor.
  • Keep notes on customer meetings in the file and submit monthly to supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bank policy and producers.
  • Work closely with operations function to properly service customers within compliance requirements.
  • Understand and be able to explain services the Bank offers in conjunction with deposit products.
  • Represent New Omni Bank, N.A. as a trustworthy, professional, servicebased organization at all times and promote and maintain a positive Bank image.
  • Become familiar with competition to understand the market.
  • Participate in ongoing training.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • At least 3 years of experience soliciting business deposit accounts through demonstrable knowledge of common business deposit products and services.
  • Bachelor's Degree from fouryear college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires active listening, excellent writing skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, and problemsolving skills.
  • Fluency in a second language preferred but not required.
