Responsibilities:


  • Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues with the irrigation system.
  • Adjust and program irrigation controllers to ensure proper watering schedules.
  • Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to plan and install irrigation systems for new projects.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of the irrigation system.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, install pipes, and connect sprinkler heads.
  • Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about the irrigation system.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of irrigation systems.
  • Knowledge of landscaping and garden maintenance practices.
  • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with programming irrigation controllers.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches and lifting heavy equipment.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues with the irrigation system.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Salary:
$ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
