    **Description**

    We are currently searching for an **Assistant General Manager** who will serve our **Hampton Inn by Hilton hotel located in Lancaster, PA.** The Assistant General Manager assists in and shares responsibility for all areas of the hotel's operations, including Front Desk, Breakfast and Housekeeping.

    **The successful candidate will possess:**

    High School diploma or GED, required

    Bachelors degree in hotel/restaurant management or business management, preferred

    Minimum of 3 years hotel operations experience, required

    Exceptional interpersonal skills with a history of top notch customer service

    Previous Hilton Brand experience, preferred

    Valid Driver's License, required

    Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

    **Essential Job Functions:**

    Assists in selection, training and development of hotel operations staff

    Handles normal tasks associated with the front desk. i.e. checking-in of guests, reservations, guest inquires etc.

    Responsible for inventory control and appearance of the hotel Suite Shop

    Maximizes room revenue and occupancy levels through suggestive selling

    Responsible for creating weekly schedule for all hourly hotel staff

    Handles all accounting functions of the hotel

    Represents the hotel as the manager on duty, in the absence of the General Manager

    Assists in monitoring and ensuring that all company and brand policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all hotel guests and co-workers
