I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background in both healthcare administration and clinical support. I hold certifications as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) and certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). With a strong foundation in patient care and financial services, I bring a unique combination of clinical and administrative expertise to the healthcare field.

In my current role as an Outpatient Financial Counselor at NYC Health and Hospitals, I help patients navigate insurance options, charity care programs, and eligibility screenings. My ability to collaborate effectively across departments and streamline operations has contributed to improving patient experiences and operational efficiency. I am committed to ensuring that patients receive the financial support they need to access quality care.

Previously, as a Shift Leader at Walgreens, I developed strong leadership and operational management skills, overseeing day-to-day operations, inventory, and customer service. This role sharpened my ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment.

With my Clinical Medical Assistant certification and a Phlebotomy Technician certification, I am now focused on combining my administrative expertise with direct patient care to further contribute to the healthcare industry.

I hold a Clinical Medical Assistant certification from ABC Training Center (September 2019), where I gained comprehensive training in patient care, medical office procedures, and clinical support. This certification equipped me with the practical skills needed to assist in medical procedures, manage patient records, take vital signs, and perform basic laboratory tests.

In addition, I recently obtain my Phlebotomy Technician certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA),  in September 2024. This certification will further enhance my clinical skill set, focusing on blood collection techniques, patient interaction, and laboratory procedures.

I also have a High School Diploma from H.E.R.O. High School (September 2017), which laid the foundation for my academic and professional journey.
