Vinicius Freitas

Hi, my name is Vinicius and i'm currently a student of Visual and Media Studies at Brooklyn College. 

Early on in my academic career, I knew I wanted to involve myself in spaces that were meant to facilitate communication between people. In the age of emerging media, I couldn't think of a better way to accomplish what I always wanted to do than now. 

As i gear up towards receiving my bachelor degree, I hope to continue to expand my critical thinking and experiences to be the best at what I do.

I've had the chance to work as a programs intern at the Nature Connection, a non-profit dedicated to uplifting the well-being of vulnerable communities, such as patients with dementia, elderly people, and at-risk youth. Using my creativity and research, I curated programs involving small animals, plants, and natural materials to help the participants I served.

After receiving my associate degree in communication at Middlesex Community in Massachusetts, I begun the next chapter in my life in New York at Brooklyn College. I have plans to complete my undergrad career in the next 2 years.
