About Tyler Huckstep:

Hello! 

My name is Tyler Huckstep and I am a musical theatre actor, turned 4th grade teacher, turned 3rd grade teacher, and now branching into the music teacher world.

I have always loved music and it has been a reoccurring theme in my life. I love how it can transport you out of your current reality to a world that you can make up in your own mind. 
I believe this feeling should be taught to kids everywhere. Music is a great way to not only escape the realities of the real world, but its a safe way to express who you are and how you feel! This is something I hope to accomplish when I am in the classroom. 

Experience

I began teaching in 2021 when everything was remote. I started with fourth grade and branched into third grade after that.

I went to college and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2015
