Tony Colafrancesco

I am an experienced manager in multiple fields with skill sets from construction, forestry, agricultural, industrial and heavy equipment management to land development, agricultural production and processing. I have over 20 years of experience in all of the aforementioned fields. It is not with pride, but gratitude that I can say that my skills and past experiences are more than can be put into volumes of resumes. There is not a machine I do not understand, but love the challenge if there is. Just give me a manual and a few minutes and I’ll figure it out.  

I have worked with companies on purchases and negotiations from around the world and am comfortable with everyone from simple farmers to CEO’s of International organizations. The vendors with whom I’ve had dealings come from all over the world.  I am motivated when expanding and maintaining a customer base and have grown and strengthened the relationships with our clientele.  International negotiations do not overwhelm me, they excite me. I have experience working with various government agencies and specialize in customer relations.

I have pioneered and conceptualized several construction and agricultural projects which advanced my organization greatly. I engineered a one-of-a-kind dairy processing plant with Industry 4.0 to be built in Alabama together with an Italian company, Frau Impianti. I initiated an artisan meat production and retail sales company, Old Century Meats, and created and maintained a customer base.

Some, like me, have earned a real life “doctorate” from time spent on the land or a piece of equipment.  From the largest precision Ag tractors and combines to the narrow tractors that work the steep hillside vineyards in Italy, it is all a passion for me.  I understand how everything works, yet I never realized the rarity of this gift until I began interacting with men of different backgrounds and skill sets and they were amazed at this knowledge and questioned how in the world I could know so much.  I then realized this was my strength.   If my experience and knowledge helps someone improve their land, make the perfect purchase for their business or farm, or walks a team member through a difficult breakdown over the phone on a machine in the shop or field, it gives me joy.  My creed is that if you have the knowledge share the flame to let others light their candles from it.
