• Assists pathologists by performing gross dissection, dictation, and sampling of simple and complex surgical specimens for processing
• Prepares specimens for ancillary testing including flow cytometry, culture, research, cytogenetics, etc
• Maintains patient confidentiality, with adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations 
• Collaborate and liaison with pathologists from various hospitals in the greater Birmingham area
• Utilizes Fusion dictation software 
• Responsible for training and supervising new employees
