Tom DiCesare

I have 20 years of experience working in every field of microbiology as well as 10 years working as a Senior Lab Technician at Harvard University’s Channing Lab. I have developed positive and good-humored relationships with the scientists I partner with. Through upbeat professional collaboration, I have assisted scientists to convey their research visually. The resulting illustration delivers the content in a visually compelling and audience-centered way while adhering to the highest scientific and graphic standards. 

While a scientific illustrator at Whitehead Institute I created illustrations and posters and presentations for researchers. As a freelancer for the American Association of Cancer Research, I prepared illustrations monthly for publication in the Journal of Cancer Immunology. Most recently as Scientific Illustrator at Caris, I collaborated with grant writers and scientists to create illustrations, tables, and charts for oncology papers. In my freelance work, I currently have several research clients from around the world.
