Tim Eberth

Tim is a multidisciplinary professional with a strong background in creative direction, writing, and digital design. As the founder and Editor in Chief of Megazine Philly, he has developed a platform that highlights Philadelphia’s local artists, businesses, culture, and history, while coordinating with vendors and hosting events to support the city’s independent publishers and entrepreneurs. His experience spans recruiting, marketing, music production, and digital design, giving him expertise in tools like Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Suite, and web platforms such as Squarespace. With a master’s degree in Environment, Society, and Development and an undergraduate degree in political science, Tim combines research, project management, and storytelling skills with a focus on global and national issues. Tim is a highly skilled professional with a broad range of experience in creative production, content development, and project coordination. His experience includes managing online platforms, implementing CRM systems, and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency. Tim has developed practical skills in client relations, event coordination, and business operations, including vendor negotiations and partnership management, ensuring seamless execution of projects across industries. Proficient in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Suite, and Squarespace, he has applied his technical expertise to roles in marketing, recruiting, and digital design. 

In creative roles, Tim has designed and illustrated content for publications, developed websites, and produced marketing materials. He has authored and edited a variety of content, from journalistic pieces and op-eds to technical marketing works, honing his research, storytelling, and communication skills. Tim combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving, making him well-equipped to tackle diverse professional challenges.

Tim holds a Master of Arts in Environment, Society, and Development from the National University of Ireland, Galway, graduating with First-Class Honors and earning the  Neil Smith Award for Research Excellence as the top student and researcher in his program. His studies focused on international geopolitics, political history, and humanitarian efforts, with an emphasis on their environmental and societal impacts. As Class Representative, Tim used strong leadership and communication skills to work as a liaison between students and faculty and advocate for academic and institutional improvements. He also conducted local field research that contributed to policy development for public works projects and authored a comprehensive dissertation exploring the intersection of race and socio-economic disadvantage in the United States.

Complementing his advanced degree, Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Washington. Tim’s interdisciplinary education has refined his ability to synthesize diverse perspectives, offering a unique approach to addressing global and local challenges.
