Thomas Roguski

My name is Thomas Roguski, and I am a recently retired serviceman. I honorably separated from active duty Coast Guard in July of 2022. I currently reside in West Pembroke Pines with my wife and dog. I have extensive experience with maritime construction as I was in charge of units that serviced marine aids to navigation (Buoys and Lighthouses). I worked with batteries, cable configurations, and other technical aspects of the job to keep both functioning properly. I believe these skills would set me apart from other applicants. My favorite part of any job is communicating with helping others and working in teams. I am a pleasure to be around. I have a current resume detailing my 21 year career in the service, as well as my current employment at Publix bakeries. 

For the last 21 years on active duty I was in leadership positions. This is what I am best at. From the age of 18 I was trusted with other peoples lives and mission completion, day or night. I clearly and effectively communicated with my supervisors throughout my career. I have been hands-on with every aspect of the Coast Guard from Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, to Maritime Construction. My specialty was boat driving where I operated every craft from small boats to large ships close to 300 feet long, depending on the mission. Towards the end of my time in the service I was in command of units, or in supervisory roles. I was then training and mentoring the young men and women that left their homes to defend their country, passing on everything that I had learned.  

I have most of my courses complete for an Associates degree. I want to complete this degree. I last attended Keiser University in Pembroke Pines, FL.
