*          Working knowledge of outpatient and inpatient medical practices, medical terminology, diagnostic/procedural coding, billing processes, and the maintenance of financial records.

*          Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing personnel in conjunction with the hospital’s Human Resources Department.

*          Setting up performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and consistently managing these expectations. Completing performance appraisals, promoting staff development activities, using performance improvement procedures as necessary, and adhering to the hospital policies and procedures.

*          Practiced in the principles of Joint Commission Standards, CMS, and HIPPA regulations.

*          Responsible for all inpatient admissions to the hospital Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
