I'm looking to further my career working with the public, in the healthcare field, with intellectually disabled adults or those with mental health concerns I'm especially interested in quality review and assurance.

I have 27 years experience working with the intellectually disabled.

27 years' experience working in public and private agencies providing support for intellectually disabled adults. Assessing needs and facilitating professional team meetings to develop plans to support the individuals. Provided support to direct care staff to ensure plans are implemented.

3 years' experience working with the state of Illinois completing quality assurance activities of community agencies serving intellectually disabled adults. This project reviewed all independent living arrangements and day service programs to ensure they were meeting the updated Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, federal standards for Home and Community Based Services.

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Truman State University, graduating in 1989.

I have supplemented my degree with additional career specific training offered by state and community agencies.
