Taylor Toth

Hi!! I’m Taylor Toth, a dedicated student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Data Science, set to graduate in May 2025. I have a strong interest in research related to rare brain diseases and conditions, driven by personal experiences that have shaped my academic and career goals.

In addition to my academic background, I bring hands-on experience in customer service and team leadership, having worked in various roles that required multitasking, problem-solving, and effective communication under pressure. My experience as a shift manager at Donato’s Pizza and my current role with Mellow Mushroom have honed my skills in management, customer interaction, and operational coordination.

I am highly adaptable and open to exploring opportunities across multiple industries, including neuroscience, technology, and creative fields. My strengths lie in my ability to work collaboratively, lead by example, and embrace new challenges. I am eager to explore opportunities in all of these areas, and hope to bring a solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

I have a diverse range of professional experience, primarily in customer service and team leadership roles. As a Shift Manager at Donato's Pizza, I supervised and motivated teams, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service. I also managed inventory, handled cash reconciliation, and resolved customer concerns. In my current role at Mellow Mushroom, I work across various positions including server, kitchen staff, delivery driver, host, and cashier, providing high-quality service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Additionally, my time at Benny's Pizza allowed me to develop strong multitasking and time management skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. These roles have sharpened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, making me adaptable in dynamic settings.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Data Science at the University of Virginia, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. My academic focus on neuroscience is driven by personal experiences, fueling my passion for research in the field. My minor in Data Science complements my neuroscience studies, equipping me with essential skills in data analysis and technology.
