Taylor Pack

I am a published writer and a recent graduate from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with a B.A. in English, concentrating in American Literature, and a Minor in Women and Gender Studies. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition at FAU as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) and a recipient of the Next Wave Fellowship. I was also honored to be awarded the Most Promising GTA.

I am passionate about sharing my love for literature and academia with my students and peers. Before stepping into my current role as a graduate student instructor, I spent six years working in childcare, earned my Child Development Associate (C.D.A.) certification, and gained valuable experience in copywriting and editing.

I thrive in leadership positions while also being a dedicated team player. I look forward to continuing to grow as an educator and contributing to the academic community.

I have two years of experience as an English Graduate Instructor, during which I have developed and delivered engaging course material to students. My teaching effectiveness is reflected in my SPOT scores, which consistently exceed the department average. Additionally, I was honored to receive the Most Promising Graduate Teaching Assistant award, demonstrating my commitment to student success and innovative teaching practices. I am passionate about creating a supportive learning environment and fostering a love for literature and writing among my students.

I hold an MA in English with a focus on Rhetoric and Composition. This program provided me with a strong foundation in writing theory, teaching strategies, and effective communication techniques. My studies have equipped me with the skills to guide students in developing their writing abilities and critical thinking skills, while also enhancing my own understanding of the intricate relationship between language, audience, and purpose.
