Sri Achyutha Cherukuri

I am an architectural designer specializing in community-centered design, spatial organization, and climate-responsive architecture. With a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Architecture from JNAFAU Hyderabad, I focus on designing spaces that foster social engagement, public safety, and human interaction. My expertise includes model-making, drawing, and integrating timber and steel structures. I have experience working on international design competitions, housing, and public infrastructure, and I am particularly interested in projects that strengthen connections between communities and civic institutions.

I have 1.5 years of professional experience at Studio MADe in India, where I worked on international design competitions focused on innovative and contextual architecture. Additionally, I completed a 3-month internship at Tao and Lee Associates in St. Louis, assisting Architect Helen Lee with on-site coordination and Revit documentation for ongoing projects. My experience spans concept design, physical model-making, and technical drawing across residential, institutional, and public spaces.
