About Shawn Lazar:

Shawn Lazar is a retired Fire Department Battalion Chief who has found a second career in facility management and Real Estate Consulting.  Shawn successfully manages over 154 churches and 23 schools for the Diocese of Richmond.  He driven by success and honesty while ensuring projects are completed on a timely manner.  

Experience

Leader of more than 85 employees while employed as a firefighter.  Trained in risk management and managing complex emergency situations.  Worked as a facility manager for 17 years for 3 churches and elementary/middle  school complex.  Manage large construction projects for more than 200 properties located in the state of Virginia.  Consult the Bishop with all real estate sales and purchases.  Manage the incorporation of more than 175 “sole” corporations.  

Education

BS in Fire Administration from Hampton University with a concentration in Public Administration.  Multiple leadership classes and leadership training.
