My name is Anna Cardinale, and I am local to the Outer Banks. I have worked primarily in education for the past few years, teaching special education. However, this is not where my experience begins. I have had ample training in working in sales for major companies, retail companies, and restaurant agencies. I remain with a smile on my face through tough situations; I believe it is important to keep joy rain or shine! My philosophy is to work hard, and always keep a hold of integrity.   

I have a wide range of job experience that is a reflection of my ability to acclimate and adapt to new positions with success. I began in the work force in the food industry where I worked with a few different companies for the span of five years. This required me to be quick on my feet, retaining in the moment problem solving skills, and the ability to build personal and meaningful connections with people on the low. In 2022 my field of work took a shift into sales into the year of 2024. While working in sales I formed the ability to handle any tough situation with patience and grace, and to persevere through challenging obstacles. In the same year of 2024 I was offered a position at an elementary school working in special education. This was the beginning of the so far, three year span I have been working in special education. During this time I have learned to dive deeper into the realm of professionalism. Some things that have been required of me have been but not limited to drafting emails dealing with important matters, documenting student information as well as my own personal information and information of other staff, monitoring safety, wellbeing and learning of youth, as well as attending meetings and forming business relationships with other staff. 

I am a high school graduate from Heritage High School in Wake Forest, North Carolina. I have one year at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University and am currently in school at College of the Albemarle to continue my education.
