Shannon DeLaTorre

I have worked in education for roughly 17 years. My passion, however is in the field of psychology. I am currently a full-time student at GCU, with hopes of becoming clinically certified in the state of Az. 

I have worked in administrative positions in my years in education, and I have excellent interpersonal skills. I pride myself on finding solutions that fit circumstances, and when inexperience in any area presents itself, I learn quickly. I am reliable, optimistic and genuine in my passion for psychology. 

I have worked in Douglas Unified School District for approximately 17 years. In the time here, I began as a part-time Instructional Assistant, then moved to Special Education, and finally administrative/secretarial and data entry. After attaining my BS in Behavioral Science, I know my purpose is in this field!

October, 2022, I earned my Bachelor's Degree at Grand Canyon University with honors. I have decided to continue into the field of psychology, where I hope to help youth and those suffering with trauma and or addictions.
