Since November 2022, I have been with HNTB as Aviation Project Director at the prestigious New International Airport in Des Moines, USA. Throughout my career, I have made substantial contributions to the successful & profitable delivery of over 30 projects covering airports, underground metro, high-rise, commercial, residential, 5* hotels, educational schools, renovation/reconstruction, and oil & gas projects.

I’m directing all aspects of project management for the design of the New Des Moines International Airport Terminal with the garage parking building, landside, and airside area of the Project.

Terminal Design Manager – Paslay Group – PG, Kansas City, USA [April 2019 to Nov 2022]

As a client representative, I monitor and deliver the New Kansas City International Airport Terminal with the Project's garage parking building, landside, and airside area.

• Managing ongoing assessment and evaluation of airport, utility, airline stakeholders, and aviation authority requirement implementation, evaluation, and recommendation for proposed substitutions or alternates during construction.
• I monitor contractor multidisciplinary design/BIM compliance with the Basis of Design and construction development activities, assuring expediency & continuity of production to deliver approved budgets & schedules objectives.

Senior Project Design Manager - Italiana Costruzioni Como - ICC JV, Doha, Qatar [June 2016 to March 2019]

As a Head of the Engineering Department, I directed the design engineering documentation and successfully delivered the Al Qassar Metro Stations construction as part of a multi-billion project.

• Managing teams of over 50 internal and consultant personnel throughout multidisciplinary design/BIM and construction activities, assuring expediency & continuity of delivery objectives for approved budgets & schedules. 
• Support the management of the program for minimizing the impact of design & construction-related risks & claims, client liaison, handling contract negotiations, project scopes, delivery schedules, budgets, and fees.

• Red Line North and Gold Underground, Doha, Qatar | TC: $ 3.6 Billion | 11 Metro stations with shelters (completed 2019)

Lead Project Manager - Parsons International Ltd, Doha, Qatar [Apr 2013 to June 2016]

I directed all aspects of project management for the design & construction supervision of the assigned contract packages. 

• Coordinated pre-construction & periodic review and evaluation of consultant's & contractor's performance. Review contractor’s schedules against the master project documents and monitor performance, assuring completion on time & within budget.
• Facilitate optimum utilization of company resources, assuring achievement of program objectives related to design delivery by managing/participating in in-house technical reviews of shop drawings and specifications of materials.

• Hamad International Airport, Doha, Qatar | TC: $ 16 Billion | New facilities include a passenger terminal with the hotel, Emiri terminal, Qatar Airways First Class Lounge, MOCC & MOI Control Data Center (completed 2016)

Project Manager/Associate - UPG Lamda DBA & Design Group, Abu Dhabi, UAE [Aug 2012 - Mar 2013]

I directed detailed project scope documentation of design, engineering, construction, handover & commercial matters, ensuring project delivery. 

• I have identified & mitigated all risks throughout all project phases. In addition, I am implementing a value engineering program to identify and exploit all cost-saving opportunities and improve project margins.

Project Manager - KEO International Consultants, Abu Dhabi, UAE [Jul 2008 - Jul 2012]

I directed projects and positioned the firm to take advantage of rapid growth and marketplace expansion.

• Reviewed subcontract documents and coordinated with subcontractors for fulfilling contractual obligations in coordination with civil, structural & MEP engineers and landscape architects, assuring completion on time and within approved budgets. 
• Led, Supervised, and mentored a 30-member team providing comprehensive technical support to projects, solving queries & evaluating the performance of team members, and prepared Fire & Life Safety Code analysis as per IBC & NFPA.
