Sandra McMillen

Caregiver for seniors. I’m passionate and emphatic towards seniors with health issues. I took care of my mother in law who had alzheimers  disease for 2 years. My father had multiple myeloma and I took care of him for 3 years until his passing and helped take care of my mother with Alzheimer’s for 3 years until she eventually moved to another state to live my brother. I’ve helped take care of people with diabetes among other thing.

Although I have no professional experience I do have hands on experience for a total of 5 years. I’ve helped bathe seniors, helped them get dressed and prepared meals for them.

I graduated high school and some college. I know sign language and for seniors who are hard of hearing I’ve taught some sign language to them to help them communicate simple needs.
