Homewood Suites by Hilton - Christiansburg, VA March 2018 to June 2019

• Developed SOPs, training and incentive programs for Housekeeping and assisted Front Office, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams to implement the same type of system which helped cut employee turnover and raise employee confidence and therefore productivity.
• Provided training to Department Managers in maintaining employee morale and productivity while anticipating staff & guest needs. Implemented daily stand ups with staff and weekly meetings with Department Heads.
• Focused on problem prevention to address potential guest issues before they happen and trained staff in proper problem resolution as well bringing the Intent to Recommend score up from 45.6 to 73.9 in the first month and left the position with a score of 96.4.
• Streamlined the ordering process, and cut loss in the suite shop, cross training all line level employees, changing the schedule to an occupancy based system with more efficiency, and reformulating MPR based on room type rather than one-for-all system already in place.
• Manager of the Quarter for all 4 quarters I was employed as a manager at this property.
• Owners often asked why the hotel ran better with no GM due to not taking into account I was doing the job in their absence.
