As an ICU/ER Certified Veterinary Technician with two years of experience in veterinary medicine, I am dedicated to providing high-quality care in fast-paced emergency and critical care settings. I have strong skills in catheter placement, triage, phlebotomy, and advanced patient monitoring, and I pride myself on delivering attentive, compassionate care to every patient. Certified Veterinary Technologist (May 2025) with diverse clinical experience spanning emergency and critical care, exotic animal medicine, aquatic species health, and small animal general practice. Currently serving as an ICU/ER Veterinary Technologist (nightshift) at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where I provide advanced critical care to unstable and emergent patients, including continuous vital monitoring, ECG interpretation, CPR response, IV catheter placement, transfusions, in-house diagnostics, and assistance with imaging and emergency procedures.

Completed externships at Hattiesburg Zoo and Mississippi Aquarium, assisting in anesthesia monitoring, blood collection, radiography, diagnostic testing, and peri-operative care for exotic mammals and aquatic species. Previous experience in small animal practice includes anesthesia monitoring, radiographs, laboratory testing (cytology, fecal flotations, microfilaria testing), client communication, and medical record management using IDEXX Neo and Avimark. My background also includes emergency hospital shadowing and extensive animal shelter volunteer work, strengthening my skills in triage, patient care, and animal welfare.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology, earned from Mississippi State University in May 2025.
