About Sam Walton:

Web developer for the last ten years focusing on dynamic languages like PHP and Ruby. I've focused on back-end applications, but work with front-end Javascript, HTML, CSS/SCSS as well as the need arises. I'm passionate about remote applications, like web apps that can be deployed anywhere. My career history has been working cross teams to build cooperation. That naturally helps with my focus on DevOps. My last seven years have been building custom modules for Drupal and working with JSON-API to drive front-end apps. 

Experience

Developing custom apps and maintaining servers for my principal's customers for the previous seven years. Prior I took a year to finish software bootcamp. I did this to pursue my desire for software development from leading a small team in a direct-marketing agency for 14 years.

Education

Finished the first cohort of Nashville Software School in 2012. Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia.
