Salam Zaidan

My name is Salam Zaidan and I am a pathologist assistants’ student in my clinical year at UTMB. I will be graduating on April 21st, 2023. I am writing to express my interest in the Pathologist Assistant position that is currently available at your organization.

My Pathologists’ Assistant training has prepared me well for Surgical Pathology and Autopsy, and I hope to continue building my skills as a full time PA. As an adapt Histotechnologist (ASCP certified), I have developed a well-rounded skill set in the pathology laboratories with many pathologists and different departments including special stains and immunohistochemistry. My previous roles have strengthened my capabilities in decision-making and critical thinking, including a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Besides my skills and experiences in the laboratory I am also an excellent team player with strong communication skills, and I am always engaged and eager to learn something new. I know I will learn so much at your institution, but I also believe I have a lot to contribute to your team.
