- Familiarity with protein synthesis, structural biology, 2-D protein gels, MALDI-TOF, HPLC, LC/MS and GC/MS
- Light microscopy, electron microscopy (TEM, SEM, Cryo, HVEM), fluorescent microscopy, 2-D image analysis and 3-D assembly
- Applied experience in infection models of plants, insects, animals, cell lines, tissue analysis, and histopathology

- Clinical mycology, anti-fungal sensitivity testing, fungi-host (plants, animals, & insects) interactions
- Experience teaching, coaching and mentoring students, research technicians, and scientist
