Ryan Maynard

I have worked in the hospitality industry for almost a decade and a half and it has taught me so much about myself and how to interact with people in a respectful way while also predicting how they will respond. It is often a fine line but with some psychology education backgroun I have really thought of myself as a very talented people person that knows how to abide by the books while staying on the customer's side of things! I am outgoing and have a tendency to pull in some dry humor when appropriate and the situation feels right, for sure.

I started as a host of a restuarant back when I was 18 years old, 15 years ago, and worked my way up from take-out, server, and then bartender in New York City. Working in the fast paced, nightlight taught a lot about my ability and agility as a hospitality worker while also keeping an eye on all safety protocal dealing with alcohol and the city. I learned how to think quick on my feet and I don't think I would have the knowledge of what I am capable of without the experience I have had over the past decade and a half.

I have an associated in liberal arts from Community College of Rhode Island and have continued my education since then with a focus on psychology, but have not completed my education in psychology and am not in classes as of right now. Perhaps down the line, but as of right now, becoming a flight attendant has always been on my desired careers and will remain on that list until it happens.
