About Robert Ward:
I have been a paramedic for about ten years, I have a BS in social sciences and I’m looking to move forward in the world of EMS, providing a sociological view into us as provider.
Experience
As an EMT Basic I volunteered with a larger rural fire department just outside Portland Oregon. As a paramedic I have experience working city EMS, rural and everything in between.
The past couple years I have been working as a full time paramedic, the peer supporter/cism coordinator and as an associate supervisor.
Education
I received my associate degree in paramedicine from a very well respected and very medicine driven university, Oregon Health and Science University. The university is also the largest hospital in the state of Oregon.
After receiving my AAS degree I pursued and received a bachelor’s degree in social science. I emphasized sociology of health and medicine but also studied a myriad of other social studies.
