Robert Johnson

As a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, I have a profound love and appreciation for the New England environment. After spending thirty years as an Environmental Analyst in both private consulting and public service, I decided to pivot my career to focus on sustainability issues. My goal is to work with organizations dedicated to environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and the development and growth of local economies and supply chains.

My most extensive professional experience is as field technician, compliance specialist, and project manager for hazardous material release site assessment and remediation projects, environmental auditing of highway maintenance facilities, and underground storage tank systems.  My responsibilities also included consultant and construction contract development and management.  More recently, I served as an adjunct research assistant developing a set of operational sustainability guideline for regional banking services company.

I hold a MS in Sustainability Science, a BS in Environmental Science, and Professional Certificates in Sustainability Studies and Offshore Wind Energy.
