Hi, my name is Therans and I am a Marine Corps veteran that is honorable discharged. I graduated for Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Master of Science in Electrical Engineering & Minor in Business. Upon graduation I accepted an offer to work for Nextera Energy/Florida Power & Light Company as a Service Planner/Distribution Engineer.

Experience

Service Planner Nextera Energy/Florida Power & Light Company 

Project Management for incoming construction. Assigned to an area to assist General Contractors by designing Power Distribution, communicating with them for their need for electricity. Provide/Review: Voltage Drop Calculations, Transformer Sizing, and Fuse Projection based on service lengths, Panel Schedules, and Riser Diagrams. Managing cost and budgets for designs, making sure revenue of coming power usage outweighs cost and budgets expectations. 

United States Marine Corps 

Worked directly with Commanding officers to achieve mission success for daily tasks. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and making repairs following manuals, schematic diagrams. Supported in massive daily military operations over seas with generators.
