I am a music educator, wind conductor, and U.S. Navy veteran with a career rooted in discipline, service, and rebuilding programs where structure and purpose matter most.

My work spans elementary through secondary music education, with a strong focus on fundamentals, ensemble culture, and long-term student growth. I have led and supported band and music programs across multiple Texas districts, often stepping into environments that required stabilization, curriculum rebuilding, and renewed accountability. Whether working with beginners or advancing ensembles toward performance readiness, I prioritize clarity, consistency, and high expectations paired with genuine mentorship.

Beyond the classroom, I am an active conductor and lifelong student of the score. I engage in formal score study, conducting symposiums, and professional development focused on wind literature, rehearsal technique, and ensemble leadership. My background as a sound engineer further informs my approach to balance, tone, and musical detail.

As a Navy veteran, I bring calm under pressure, operational thinking, and a deep respect for teamwork. I believe strong music programs are built on trust, discipline, and shared standards—and that music education remains one of the most powerful tools we have for shaping character as well as artistry.
