About Richard Sheppard:

I am currently the Director of Global Sales at Compass Water Solutions which, until recently, was owned by a private equity group. I have a long and extensive background in sales, sales management, construction management as well as operations and project management.  I spent the last ten years of my career managing business around the world.  In that time, through the efforts of the entire staff,  the increase of Compass Water Solutions’ company revenue and market share resulted in the sale of the business at a substantial profit. 

The past fifteen years of traveling internationally for the benefit of a company I loved working for has been a great experience.  I was able to strengthen my sales, operational and management skills with added benefit of gaining knowledge of foreign business relations.  It has been a tremendous experience. I am now looking forward to the next chapter in my career.

  • Went to state capitol to secure funding.
  • Assisted Public works and Diamondhead Sewer and water with projects in the city.

  • Responsible for development, growth and expansion of brand presence globally. 
  • Responsible for expansion of business internationally.  Implementation of business planning and strategies worldwide. 
  • Represented the company at national and international trade shows to showcase and promote brand growth. 

 

Compass Water Solutions 

2012 – 2013 REGIONAL SALES MANAGER-AMERICAS

 

  • Regional Sales Manager responsible for development of a business platform in North, Central & South American markets. Coordinated sales, aftermarket, repairs and tech support. Managed the sales division financials as well as market expansion. 
  • Developed relationships with Major drillers in Houston to realize sales of over $8 million in the following 2 years.
  • Rebuilt agent and service network in the Americas.
