Rebecca Mount

     With over 25 years working in the diabetes space, my passion lies in empowering individuals to take control of their health by transforming complex medical information into clear, actionable self- management strategies. 
     Screening and assessing patient knowledge, attitudes and barriers to care are essential in developing and implementing individualized care and education plans. 
     I am adept at providing hands-on instruction in all areas of diabetes management; meal planning, instruction and interpretation of glucose monitoring with meters and wearable devices, instruction on the use and side affects of oral and injectable diabetes medications and delivering information regarding acute and chronic complications of diabetes. Additionally, I am a certified pump trainer.

     My goal is to serve as a knowledgeable and empathetic partner in my patients care, providing them with the tools and confidence to live healthier lives with diabetes.
