Ama Anahata

I am a compassionate, people oriented nurse who loves to meet patients where they are and create a collaborative plan of care to get their goals achieved. I love working with whole families and being a part of my community. I have been a nurse for 6 years and previous to that I was a nurse assistant for 6 years as well. I have worked in hospice and behavioral home health. I am a great team worker, but function well independently. I have been in supervisor roles. I have excellent communication and customer service skills which I believe are the most important to the work I do even more so than technical or clinical skills. I love treating the whole person and learning from my peers. 

I worked in behavioral health for 6 years. 

I obtained my nursing degree in 2017 

I have been a hospice and private duty nurse since graduating 6 years ago. 

I hold an ASN and I am BLS and CPR certified. I plan to become hospice certified and am open to furthering education/certification needs and opportunities.
