Randall Bigby

A self-motivated problem solver & a task-oriented ‘go-getter’. I'm an electric utility lineman with over 12yrs field experience in the industry. Soon-to-be University of Central Oklahoma graduate with a bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, eager to contribute to the electric utility industry in a specialized capacity that keeps the lights on and better equips me to serve as my brother's keeper.

Having the opportunity to work for several utility contractors, I've performed various distribution roles ranging from ground hand to operating my own single-man bucket, overhead line work and underground faults, operating digger derrick to remove old poles and set new ones, backyard security lights to miles-long highway lighting circuits. I've worked both independently and as a team while being called upon to train new hires for all the above.

Moving forward, I want to use the knowledge and experience I've acquired in the field to complement the specialized training and education I've earned with my Occupational safety degree. My unique combination of experience and education allows me not only to ensure a boost in production but also a substantial reduction in worker injuries and downtime. I am my brother's keeper.
