Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) Caregiver, August 2022 through present

BRIDGES

• CDPAP allows individuals with disabilities to access care in their own home, with the freedom to train and manage their caretakers. Home healthcare work allows vulnerable individuals to live more independently and avoid being institutionalized.
• Responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring vitals, dressing changes, hygiene management, transport to doctors, and more.

Instructional Assistant for Molecular Biology (BIMM 100), Spring 2022

UC San Diego Molecular Biology course, taught by Dr. Michael Burg

• Coordinated class administration with Professor Burg, including exam proctoring and assignment deadlines
• Graded all assignments submitted by a section of 30 students, scrutinized submissions for plagiarism, and statistically analyzed their scores
• Provided additional instruction for a section of 30 students, cultivating deeper understanding of difficult class topics

Undergraduate Assistant for Organic Chemistry Lab (CHEM 43A), Spring 2022

Pilot program overseen by academic coordinator Craig Corrgian

• Enhanced the undergraduate chemistry lab experience by providing additional in-lab support for students
• Mentored students on general good practice and specific inquiries during experiments
• Cultivated a positive, productive teaching environment in which students were motivated towards independent success

Resident Assistant at Revelle College, UC San Diego, August 2021 through June 2022

• Supervised a community of 45 first-year students living on campus in the Revelle College residence halls
• Coordinated with Revelle College administration regarding housing policies and student conduct documentation
